A journalist from KBC has received much praise on social media after he risked his life to rescue a beggar when bees attacked people outside the Supreme Court on Wednesday (19th September) afternoon. The beggar had been left alone as people scrambled for safety but the journalist by the name Victor Muyakane noticed this, dropped his journalistic tag, rushed to where the beggar was perched then carried him to safety. The rescue. The journalist was stung a few times in the process and had to be rushed to a hospital for treatment. The beggar had a tonne of bee stings and we hope that someone assisted him medically after the rescue.Sadly, someone apparently stole his phone after he carried the beggar to safety. Seriously? The incident occurred outside the Supreme Court where judges are reading out the detailed Supreme Court ruling nullifying the presidential polls. According to eyewitnesses, the swarm of bees was as a result of an unidentified enthusiastic man who vigorously shook a lamp post that had a hive on top of it. Put your comment
